You Didn’t Hear it Here First

Something is starting to annoy me, along with the millions of other things that already do.

I’ve started to hear the word “Upgrade” in far too many situations lately, and I have a great fear that it will be the new thing to say for everyone. This goes right into the Paris Hilton use of “Hot” or the totally idiotic “Chillax.”

I propose that if you slap the next person to use “Upgrade” inappropriately, there is a chance we can nip this in the bud before it begins.

I’m unaware of the usage you’re referring to. For me, an upgrade is when I go from the Dodge Neon to the Buick Century at my local Avis. But I’m old school like that, you know.
