TLCNYC, to have your On Demand ripped from your life is quite terrible, but don’t you have a DVR?

I have cable, cable that I have touted and loved. Right now I am having major problems with my On Demand service and it is making me crazy! Whenever you watch something ‘on demand’ the picture breaks apart into these little squares. Called the cable company and they said it was a problem with the connection and sent out a serviceman. Serviceman said there was no problem and that I just needed to tighten the connetions. Connections are tightened and yet the problem remains!!! And they wonder why so many people are on prescription drugs!

There probably is fiber from some specialized providers, but it isn’t available to the average consumer. Too bad too because I know some people who have it and it kicks ass all over what I’ve got.

My sausage fingers are too fat for the Nano’s tiny click wheel interface. Because of that, and to help the economy, I think that I will soon replace my silver Mini with a black 30gb Video. I’m thinking that the 800 songs in my Mini will have lots of room to stretch out in the 30gb’s 7500-song capacity.
