I am still around, but not so much alive. The cause of this is, of course, my newborn daughter.
Sorry I didn’t get the report in sooner, but here it is now. She was born on Monday the nineteenth at 8:37 in the morning. Weighing in at eight pounds six point nine ounces and measuring twenty one and a half inches.
Her name is Winifred Jane.

To those of you who are about to say how cute she is and what-not, I say, what did you expect?

Congratulations to you and Wife for giving birth to circa Black Snake Moan Christina Ricci! From Wife’s blog it sounds like your girly eyelashes finally came into good use. I can’t wait to see her eat rocky road ice cream.

First of all, congratulations! I cannot wait until the end of March when I get to see this little pumpkin! Secondly, what the hell does Josh’s message mean? Has he lost his mind?
It means that they have a skinny baby, just as Christina Ricci looks like a giant baby. Recently, on the Black Snake Moan posters, she looks like a giant skinny baby. Like Winifred.
And it is widely established that Guinness has long eyelashes. Like a chick.
And I guess you’ve never seen Guinness eat Rocky Road ice cream. I’m wondering if it is hereditary…
I looked at the pictures and the ones with mother and child almost made me cry.

I was waiting so long for the pics that I went and fell asleep and didn’t check this blog! A very byooteefull baby indeed! I can see by pics 16 and 17 that she has your face. Two surprising things: 1) She’s already opened her eyes, and 2) they don’t come out wearing clothes?

Only Josh would look at a picture of a sweet newborn and think of a highly sexually provocative poster. I don’t know whether to be impressed or appalled. Of course, when I think of Josh, I think of a capuchin monkey who adopted some kittens.

Hey TLCNYC Christina Ricci will always look like a giant baby. It is just that now she looks like a giant skinny baby, instead of the giant chubby baby look she had going on in the past.
