For my use of the wesite Platial, I was recently quoted in a story on National Geographic’s online site. The questions were emailed to me, and I guess I come across as pretty fem in writing, because the writer clearly thought I was a woman.
I’m relatively sure I’m not, but perhaps some research is in order.
The call has gone out for something really useless, and I am not one to ignore it.
I sometimes play a little Civilization 4, and was thinking about maps and stuff, so I decided to create a little script to create a random map (refresh to see it in action). It doesn’t do anything or serve any real purpose, but it could thoeoretically be put into use for my game, that will be done in five or six years. Seven max. I’m really waiting to finish the animation now, and that will take a long time, but I think the game itself can be made ready quickly after that.
Speaking of useless things, has anyone seen my calendar? It is pretty neat, but certainly not as good as so many that are out there. I think it is actually useable no, though you will need to register as a user to store calendar items in it. There are a couple of other features that I want to add to it, but it is pretty cool the way it is. If you are looking for a real calendar, I’d go elsewhere, but this one is fun for screwing around.
I think the forum in that section works as well. None of this stuff has any advantage over other examples, except that I coded all of these with my own tiny brain.
I love cottage cheese.

In a fit of lunacy, I made it mark out the coastline with graphic element. Goofy, and fun!
I’m going to try and update my other weblogs a little more frequently from now on. I have added something to Eat Me, but it is really just a pointer to my map at Platial. I will try and write up more complete reviews of things there, and at the movies site.
THe other thing I am working on, in a fit of silliness, is a Disney blog. This is up at Retlaw. Currently it is very incomplete as I am still working on the underlying structure of the site. There are many many categories to add, so this could take a long time. I plan to start in and add a little all the time, though I don’t think it can ever ba all the way done.

It is, I think, the least useful design I have ever made. I think that the navigation is basically useless, and it should totally break in Explorer, except the newer beta version. I like it a lot.
Please remain seated, and keep your hands and arms inside this blog until the site has come to a complete stop.
