I suppose the signs always seem a little off whenever they are in a new place, but in Maui, I think someone has been enjoying a little local wowie. There were five that I got pictures of. Some of them are public and a couple are business signs, but all are weird.
First up is a sign from the airport. Simple enough, just letting you know not to slip. The weird thing is that the figure is a basic stick figure, except that he has all ten fingers, in an odd detail.
The second is from a business, and it isn’t weird except that someone actually came up with the idea for this business and decided to give it a try. Freaks.
Snorkel Bob’s is where we got our snorkeling equipment, and is a good place. I think that this sign is likely intentional, seeing other stuff in the shop, but it is still funny.
I had to make sure I stayed under the speed limit, lest my car be reduced to a molten mass.
The funniest of all was at the top of Haleakala. Inside the national park no less. I don’t know what has been happening in their bathrooms, but I’m glad they’re on top of it.
