So much fodder to consider and I don’t know what’s up with him but I do know that my interest in watching his movies has dropped to about zero.

Risky Business will always a special place in my heart but the guy’s gone ’round the bend and there be wackos where he once stood.

I hope Katie is able to shake off her brainwashing and realize that dude’s nuts. But if she’s already said she’s ready to convert to Scientology then she may be a lost cause. Bummer because she’s hot!

    From Yahoo news:

In an interview with AP Radio Wednesday night, Kelly Preston, who is also a Scientologist, defended the actor’s “Today” show comments about Shields. “If you’re going to be advocating drugs, which she does in her book, you need to be responsible for also telling the people of the potential risks.”

Preston also said Cruise’s heated debate with Lauer was “very helpful because it’s just raised awareness. People are talking about it now, and that’s what they should be.”

-If the “it” Preston is referring to is the menace an unstable Tom Cruise presents to himself and others, then I agree with her.

I never had a opinion one way or the other about Cruise, but if he thinks all this rambling crap he is putting on the past few weeks will help his movie he is more off his rocker than he acts. I’m a die-hard sci-fi fan & I was really looking forward to WOTW. Now, when I see his face I get a little disqusted & think twice about seeing it. For a sci-fi fan waiting forever for this movie to come out, as were many, he is ruining it . KEEP YOUR TRAP SHUT TOM! I want to see the movie, not your mug on tv every 30 minutes because of something you’ve done or said. I live in Clearwater – you deserve to be with your looney-toon scientologists. Put on your outfit & pray to your money.

    Ya know…

For some reason, this whole brouhaha reminds me of Nathan Lane’s immortal line: sweetie, I’m 40, and unmarried, and in the theatre. You do the math.
