There is a lot of fear among the regularly frightened about Google. It really started back when Gmail was first emerging, and the fears that Google was going to read all of the email on the planet or something. I covered this particular aspect some time ago in Pimpgnosis.

I concur that there are some aspects to the way Google is that are a bit big-brotheresque, but so what?

We bust stuff up all of the time in America, and as often as not it hurts more than it helps. Instead of being anti anything big, what we need to do is inspect the big things on a case by case basis, and determine if they are actually harming us more or hurting us more, and certainly they shouldn

    I totally agree. I never thought that I’d use that Google satellite feature to look for houses, but one time I was trying to locate a friend’s house and Google let me look right into her backyard. Incredible! Now I never miss the house when I go to visit her.
